Sponsorship Opportunities

Sepanski_Volunteer

Our Sponsorship Program is designed to help companies achieve their philanthropic goals while engaging them in our work. Whether you give to the general pool of sponsorship dollars or prefer to choose one or two (or more) specific events or programs, your contribution helps to increase philanthropic visibility for your company and United Way.

We believe firmly in partnership and without the support of companies like yours, we would be unable to deliver solutions to our communities most pressing needs.

Interested in sponsoring a United Way program or event?
A company can choose to give to the general pool of sponsorship dollars or choose one or two (or more) specific events to support.  To learn more about Sponsorship Opportunities, please contact Jarid Brown by email or at 217.726.7000.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Sponsorship

United Way of Central Illinois is proud to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to bring new, free books to preschool age children in Sangamon County.

Children who are registered for the program will receive an age appropriate book in the mail from birth until their fifth birthday. By age five, children can end up with a 60 volume set of books and more importantly a jump start on lifelong learning.

The program’s objective is to foster a love of reading for children and encourage parents to read with them. There is no cost or obligation to families who want to participate.

Call 217.726.7000 to learn how you can become a partner in reading as a sponsor of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Event Sponsorships

Day of Action – Each year, United Way of Central Illinois mobilizes hundreds of volunteers across our region to help local agencies and demonstrate the value of volunteerism.

Day of Action sponsors help United Way thank, recognize and support this large-scale volunteer initiative.

Annual Meeting – United Way’s Annual Meeting occurs each Spring, allowing the community to celebrate the efforts of our annual campaign, recognize volunteer leadership and present our Get Connected Volunteer Awards.

Annual meeting table sponsors receive special event recognition, post-event recognition and seating for ten.

Kickoff Celebration – Late each Summer, United Way kicks off its annual campaign with a celebration of the agencies, companies and donors working tirelessly to improve our community.

Kickoff Celebration table sponsors receive special event recognition, post-event recognition and seating for ten.

Night of Thanks – Each Fall, United Way hosts its Night of Thanks event to recognize members of the Community Builders and Community Leaders Guild. Throughout the year, these individuals and families demonstrate an endless commitment to our community. One night each year, we gather to celebrate this commitment and show our personal appreciation for their efforts.

Additional Events – Throughout the year, United Way’s partners host various special events to raise needed funds for our community. Please contact us at 217.726-7000 to learn about additional event sponsorships.
