United We Learn Session: March 5, 2021

Kids Dream Big with Books: A deep dive into the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program

Recorded Friday March 5th, 2021 at 9:15 a.m.

Having early access to books can help children build important academic skills. A United Way funded and supported program to help provide free access to books is Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a literacy program that provides children birth to age five, one free, age appropriate book every month, delivered to their homes. Listen to hear how you can help give more kids this magic feeling and help us improve childhood literacy in Sangamon and Menard Counties.

United We Learn is a new opportunity to learn more about United Way and our work in the community. These virtual learning sessions are offered and hosted by United Way of Central Illinois. Each session will only last for fifteen minutes and will be recorded so they can be viewed at a later time.
