Volunteer for United Way’s Spring Day of Action and join hundreds of volunteers at service projects throughout our community.
May 5-6, 2017, United Way is teaming up with local partners to mobilize hundreds of volunteers and complete dozens of service projects throughout our community. Volunteer opportunities will be available on both Friday, May 5th (1:00-4:00 p.m.) and Saturday, May 6th (9:00-12:00 p.m.).
In addition, United Way’s Days of Action will include volunteer opportunities for children and teenagers. Children must be 8 years of age or older to volunteer and a parent/guardian must accompany/supervise children. Service Hour verification will be available for middle school and high school students requiring proof of service hours for school.
Volunteer assignments are made based upon age, size of volunteer group, and agency needs. Each volunteer will receive their volunteer assignment a week in advance with details on supplies, t-shirt pick-up and parking.
Volunteers may register at Get Connected, United Way’s volunteer website.
