Pacesetter Campaigns Energize United Way Campaign

The 2021 United Way campaign is underway as this year’s Pacesetter Companies kick off their annual employee giving campaigns. United Way’s Pacesetter Companies exemplify what it means to Live United through conducting best practice employee giving campaigns prior to the start of United Way’s traditional fall campaign.

In addition United Way’s community partners including the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Illinois, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois, Catholic Charities, Compass for Kids, Contact Ministries, Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, Helping Hands of Springfield, Lutheran Child and Family Services, MERCY Communities, Mini O’ Beirne, Senior Services of Central Illinois, Sojourn Shelter and Services, and the Springfield Urban League participated during the Pacesetter Campaign.

As a special thank you, United Way would like to welcome Medics First which launched its first United Way Campaign on August 11th.

United Way extends its deepest gratitude to these companies and organizations for setting the pace for this year’s campaign. These companies truly demonstrate how an employee giving campaign can be engaging, educational and fun for every employee while providing support to United Way, its Community Partners and dozens of other nonprofit organizations.
